Deep Anomaly

A local multiplayer fishing game created in 28 hours for a game jam with the theme "Anomaly". Inspired by Club Penguin's fishing minigame, Deep Anomaly turns competitive fishing into a fun experience for up to 4 players.

📜 Game Overview

In Deep Anomaly, players compete to catch as many fish as possible within 2 minutes. However, some fish exhibit strange anomalies, identified by purple details—catching these will cost you points! The player with the most points at the end wins, with a podium displaying the final rankings.

🚀 How to Play

  1. Go to the game's link hosted in itch.io (https://kofkof.itch.io/deep-anomaly)
  2. Press play & choose the amount of players up to 4. 
  3. Move your fishing rod up and down to catch fish
  4. Avoid anomalous fish to maintain your score
  5. Compete for the highest score within 2 minutes
  6. Celebrate victory (or demand a rematch!)
